Announcing a New Hospice House
In January 2020, Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County began construction of a new Hospice House on the campus of Upper Valley Medical Center. This new facility will have 12 patient-care rooms, an interfaith chapel, spa room, private meeting spaces for families, and a large family living room. Patient-care rooms will feature exterior doors that allow views and access to the outdoors.
To realize this bold plan for our community, Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County has launched its first-ever building campaign. This campaign will ensure a top-notch facility to be built that meets current and future demands for palliative and hospice care.
Funds raised from individuals, corporations and foundations in Miami County and the surrounding area will be used to cover expenses related to new construction costs, state-of-the-art equipment, and operating reserves for the first three years at the new facility.
