Hospice House Now Serving Our Community
Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County is now accepting patients at its new, state-of-the-art Hospice House in Troy. On Sept. 8, 2021, the not-for-profit hospice transferred patients from its inpatient care center at Upper Valley Medical Center to the Hospice House, which opened in August 2021.
Located on the campus of Upper Valley Medical Center, the Hospice House (3230 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373) has 12 patient-care rooms, an interfaith chapel, spa room, private meeting spaces for families, and a large family living room. Patient-care rooms feature exterior doors that allow views and access to the outdoors.
Set in a beautiful setting, the 31,180-square foot Hospice House provides pain and comfort management for patients and allows family members to rest and receive support from the interdisciplinary care team of Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County.
To realize this bold plan for our community, Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County launched its first-ever building campaign. This campaign will ensure a top-notch facility that meets current and future demands for palliative and hospice care.
Funds raised from individuals, corporations and foundations in Miami County and the surrounding area are being used to cover expenses related to new construction costs, state-of-the-art equipment, and operating reserves for the first three years at the new facility.
